Do Your Research

Thoroughly research the company and exactly what they do.  Navigate through their entire website, if they have one, and read all information they have available.  Employers want to see that the candidates have a genuine desire to work for their company and will, therefore, most likely ask questions about the company.  The worst thing an interviewer can do is respond uninformed.  During the process, make sure you maintain your interest in the company throughout the whole interview.

Match Job Requirements With Your Skills

Prepare Your Wardrobe Ahead of Time

  • What steps are involved in marketing research?
  • Describe a time you made a mistake and how you handled it?
  • Describe what a niche market is.

Make a List of Questions For You to Ask

Make sure you have a mental list of questions to ask the interviewers.  This will showcase your curiosity and interest in the company.  Interviewers will expect to hear questions from their candidates.  Here are some questions you might consider asking.

  • What is the management style like at this company?
  • How does the company measure success for this position?
  • What methods are used in preparing and training someone new to this position?
  • What would you say is the greatest challenge in this position?

Follow-Up on The Employers
